SOMERVILLE, NJ – The Central Jersey Jazz Festival spanned two locations and two days, serving as a conduit for culture, arts, and education while promoting local tourism and community collaboration.

The festival kicked off on Saturday in Flemington from 5 pm to 10 pm and continued on Sunday in Somerville from 1 pm to 6 pm. The event featured live jazz performances, a range of food and drink vendors, and various other activities.

Aimed at enhancing community ties and fostering cultural exchange, the festival also had an educational component. Organizers sought to bring people together not just from Flemington and Somerville but also from neighboring areas, effectively turning the commercial districts into cultural hubs for the duration of the event.

Attendance was open to the public, and the festival succeeded in attracting a diverse crowd interested in jazz, food, and community engagement. Overall, the Central Jersey Jazz Festival met its goal of enriching local communities through a multifaceted approach that included music, culture, and education.
