Montclair Jazz Festival to Transform Downtown into Musical Mecca

by Erica Schmidt

MONTCLAIR, NJ – The 14th Annual Montclair Jazz Festival Jamboree turned the downtown streets into a hub of musical and artisanal activity, aimed at supporting the area’s main business district.

Five stages were set up throughout a half-mile stretch of Bloomfield Avenue, featuring various live performances. A total of 150 food and artisan vendors populated the area, co-curated by Marketspace Vendor Events. An expanded Family Jazz Discovery Zone added to the family-friendly offerings.

The event was free to attend, with a suggested donation of $10. Attendees were welcome to bring beach and lawn chairs, although pop-up tents and beach umbrellas were not allowed.

By taking to the streets for the third year in a row, the Montclair Jazz Festival Jamboree successfully supported local businesses while offering a musical and cultural experience for the community.
