Two Arrested for Double Murder, Burning Body in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Police, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), have arrested 24-year-old Miranda King and 42-year-old Robert Beine.

Both are charged with murder and gross abuse of a corpse in connection with the homicide of 42-year-old William Hamblin.

The victim was found on July 8, in the 1600 block of S. High St., where officers had been dispatched to investigate a report of a burning body.

King and Beine were taken into custody after fleeing from officers in south Columbus.

Both suspects are currently in custody and are awaiting further legal proceedings.
