Man Injured in Early Morning Shooting in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ – A 34-year-old male resident of Secaucus was injured in a shooting incident on Monday morning.

The Paterson Police Department responded to a report of a shooting near Market Street and Pennington Street at approximately 2:23 a.m. The man sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound and was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Upon arrival, officers located a potential crime scene in the area. The investigation remains active and ongoing, led by the Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. No suspects have been identified at this time.
