ST. LOUIS, MO – Kadijah McFadden, 29, was sentenced on Wednesday to 15 years in federal prison for robbing a Boost Mobile store and carjacking a Jeep Cherokee. The sentencing was overseen by U.S. District Judge Matthew T. Schelp.

On August 9, 2021, McFadden entered the Boost Mobile store located at 12135 Bellefontaine Road, where she pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money and cell phones. She made off with approximately $630 and multiple devices.

On September 5, 2021, McFadden approached a woman who was unloading groceries from her 2017 Jeep Cherokee on the 3600 block of Bates Street. Brandishing a handgun, McFadden demanded the woman’s purse and car keys. After obtaining the keys, McFadden fired four shots into the air and at the ground before stealing the vehicle. The event was recorded on video.

Later that day, McFadden and her co-defendant, Damonta Jamall Bridges, 30, were located by St. Louis County police. Following a car chase, the vehicle crashed. McFadden pleaded guilty in December to multiple charges including carjacking, robbery, and firearm offenses.

Bridges also pleaded guilty in August to robbery and firearm charges and will be sentenced on November 28. As part of his plea agreement, both the prosecution and his defense attorney will recommend a 137-month prison sentence.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the St. Louis County Police Department, and the FBI conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Ashley Walker prosecuted the case.
