Pittsburgh Shooting Victim Succumbs to Injuries

PITTSBURGH, PA – On Saturday morning, a man was shot in the chest on the 2300 block of East Hills Drive.

According to Pittsburgh police, the victim himself called 911 around 11 a.m. following the shooting.

Detectives nearby were able to assist the injured man.

He was transported to the hospital in a critical state. However, in a subsequent update on Sunday morning, it was confirmed that the man had passed away at the hospital.

A firearm was retrieved from the scene, and a woman has been brought in for questioning at the police headquarters. The department’s Violent Crime Unit is currently leading the investigation.
