Two Injured in Shooting at NYC Housing Complex in South Bronx Home

SOUTH BRONX, NY – At approximately 3:46 a.m., officers responded to a reported shooting at a NYC Housing Authority residence at 818 Home St.

Upon arrival, they confirmed one man had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

Shortly after, a second victim was found with a gunshot wound to the back. Both injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspect is thought to have fled in the direction of Union Avenue.

EMS teams were dispatched to the scene to provide medical assistance. The investigation is ongoing.
