Shooting in Harrison Township Leaves One Dead

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, OH – A shooting on Sunday evening in Harrison Township resulted in one fatality.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 1900 block of Ontario Avenue at 7:25 p.m.

Upon their arrival, a male victim was discovered in a driveway, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.

Despite deputies’ efforts to save him, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A male individual who fled the scene was detained shortly after and subsequently booked into the Montgomery County Jail after being interviewed by detectives.

The investigation is ongoing, and the identity of the victim remains undisclosed.
