One Charged, Another Still At-Large in August NYC Murder Case

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Updates in the ongoing homicide investigation have led to the identification and subsequent arrest of a suspect.

On Wednesday, August 30, around 5:06 pm, Christopher King, a 31-year-old male from Elmont, NY, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including murder.

The deceased victim from the April 8 incident has been identified as Jevaughn Jeminson, a 23-year-old male from North Lauderdale, FL.

Police had responded to a distress call that day around 2:07 am, discovering Jeminson with gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.

Another individual, Jhavaughn Pinnock, a 32-year-old male, has also been identified as part of the investigation. Pinnock is described as being 5’10” tall, weighing around 220 pounds, and has a distinct scar on his left cheek. He was seen fleeing in a vehicle towards Long Island.
