Off-Duty NYPD Officer Arrested on Multiple Charges in Greenwich Village

NEW YORK, NY – Carlos Pereyra, a 26-year-old off-duty NYPD officer, was arrested early Saturday morning within the jurisdiction of the department’s 6th Precinct.

Pereyra faces charges of resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. on September 30.

Further details are pending investigation.
