Five Men Injured in Northeast D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A late-night shooting Friday night on Quincy Place in Northeast D.C. left five men injured, according to the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department.

The shooting occurred just after 11:30 p.m. at the 100 block of Quincy Place. Officers arriving on scene discovered five men with gunshot wounds. Four were transported to a local hospital by emergency services, while the fifth man walked into the hospital. All of the victims are expected to survive.

The police report indicates that the men were standing outside when an unidentified suspect opened fire. The assailant then fled in an unspecified direction. Bullets also struck a nearby apartment, resulting in property damage.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to call 202-727-9099 or text 50411. This case remains under investigation.
