Two Injured in Early Morning Hartford Shooting

HARTFORD, CT – A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were injured in a shooting that occurred on Monday morning around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Roxbury Street and Fairfield Avenue.

Both victims were transported to the hospital, with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the two victims with gunshot wounds and promptly provided assistance until medical personnel arrived.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.

The Hartford Police Department is actively seeking information from the public to assist in their investigation. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call the HPD Tip Line at (860) 722-8477.
