Man Beaten and Robbed in Queens

NEW YORK CITY – The New York City Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying two individuals connected to a robbery that transpired in Queens.

According to the report, the incident took place on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at around 2:45 a.m. The location was pinpointed as the rear parking lot of 178-23 Hillside Avenue.

A 39-year-old man recounted that as he was walking, he was ambushed by two males. One of the assailants punched him directly in the face, causing him to tumble to the ground.

Once down, the other attacker struck him with an unspecified object. They then proceeded to rob him of approximately $300 in cash from his pocket. Following the assault, the duo hastily retreated, making their escape in a dark-colored SUV, the direction of which remains uncertain.

As a result of the confrontation, the victim suffered minor injuries and was promptly taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for medical attention.

Visual media that captures the appearance of the suspects is available for viewing at DCPI. The NYPD urges anyone with relevant information or knowledge about the suspects’ identities to come forward and assist in their swift apprehension.
