Boy and Woman Injured in Rochester North Side Shooting

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Late Thursday night, a shooting incident occurred on the city’s north side near North Clinton Avenue and Avenue D.

Police officers arrived around 8:15 p.m. following reports of shots heard in the area.

Upon investigation, two victims were identified: a 14-year-old boy with gunshot injuries and a 36-year-old woman hit by shrapnel.

Both victims were promptly taken to the hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.

The Rochester Police Department continues their investigation, and no arrests have been made. They request anyone with information to contact them.
