Albemarle County Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Latino Market

The Albemarle County Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning at the Latino Market, located at 380 Greenbrier Drive. The incident took place at approximately 8:40 a.m., when two unknown Hispanic males entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded cash.

According to police reports, one of the suspects was dressed in a black sweatshirt and a camouflage hat, while the second male wore a white sweatshirt with black stripes and a dark-colored hat. The duo managed to leave the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, exiting in an unknown direction.

Authorities have urged the public to come forward with any information related to the robbery. “This is an ongoing investigation,” said the Albemarle County Police Department in their official statement. “Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact Detective Chuck Marshall with the Albemarle County Police Department at 434-296-5807.”
