RICHMOND, VA – Early Sunday morning, officers responded to reports of shots fired near the 1500 block of Columbia Street, close to Richmond Highway.
Upon arrival, police discovered an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound in the driver’s seat of a pick-up truck.
The individual was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigative efforts by the Richmond Police revealed that the driver was traveling south on Columbia Street when his truck veered off the road and collided with a tree.
