Two Teens Among Four Shot or Injured in Philadelphia Violence

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Three individuals, including a 15-year-old boy, sustained injuries in separate incidents over the weekend in Philadelphia.

Early Sunday, around 3:30 a.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in his right shoulder on W. Lehigh Avenue in Fairhill. He was taken to Episcopal Hospital and is in stable condition.

In West Philadelphia’s Parkside neighborhood, a different 15-year-old boy sustained two gunshot wounds to his right ankle approximately at 3:15 a.m. Sunday.

He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with non-critical injuries.

Officers reported to Rockland Street in Germantown just before 3 a.m. Saturday where they discovered a woman, aged in her 30s, with a stab wound on her neck. She was immediately taken to Einstein Medical Center in a serious condition.

The police found two knives at the location. Currently, no arrests have been made in relation to these incidents.
