Man Found Dead in D.C. Alley From Blunt Force Trauma

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead early this morning in an alley off Sheridan Street in Northwest, D.C.

Officers from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department responded to the scene around 12:45 a.m. following a call from the fire department about a man down in the area. The victim, who has not yet been identified, suffered blunt force trauma to the head.

At this time, no individuals have been identified as suspects or persons of interest. Authorities are in search of at least four people last observed fleeing the scene.
