Detectives from the Columbus Police Department Robbery Unit have identified a second suspect involved in an assault and robbery incident that unfolded in the Brewery District on August 25, 2023. The victim was attacked by multiple individuals on the 500 block of S. High St., following an earlier verbal confrontation with one of the suspects at a nearby bar.
The assailants brandished a firearm before assaulting the victim and making away with the victim’s wallet and cellphone.
Surveillance footage captured both individuals entering the bar around 40 minutes prior to the assault and robbery. Authorities are urging anyone with pertinent information to reach out to the Columbus Police Robbery Unit at 614-645-4665.
