Man Found Guilty of Crimes Against Minors in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – Michael McBeth has been found guilty on charges of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Child Less than 16, Aggravated Indecent Assault on a Child Less than 16, and Indecent Assault on a Child Less than 16 by a Cumberland County jury.

On Tuesday, the verdict was rendered, detailing McBeth’s crimes against his nieces, who were between the ages of approximately 5 and 14.

Testimony during the trial exposed McBeth’s actions, which included the inappropriate use of vibrators and other objects on the children.

The court also heard evidence of McBeth’s direct involvement in sexually assaulting the minors.

Scheduled for sentencing on January 23, 2024, McBeth will appear before Honorable Judge Peck. Senior Assistant District Attorney Lauren Perchinski prosecuted the case. The efforts of Trooper Scott Masci and the Pennsylvania State Police in the investigation were recognized by the District Attorney’s Office.
