Police Continue Investigation into Deadly Stabbing in College Park

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Homicide Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal domestic-related stabbing in a College Park home last Sunday evening.

The victim, identified as 45-year-old Asinia Stewart, suffered fatal injuries.

On Sunday, officers responded to a home on the 3400 block of Metzerott Road around 8:40 p.m.

They discovered Stewart with stab wounds, and he was subsequently taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives are working to ascertain the events leading to the stabbing, and discussions with the State’s Attorney’s Office are ongoing to determine any potential charges.
