Police Seeking Suspect Who Stole Gun from Vehicle on W. Cayuga Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An incident occurred on Tuesday, October 17, where an individual reported a burglary involving his vehicle.

The vehicle was parked near 800 W Cayuga St around 2:00 am.

Upon return, he found his passenger side rear window shattered and his 9mm Sig Sauer, P-365 gun missing. The gun had been loaded with ten live rounds.

Surveillance footage shows two unidentified individuals approaching the vehicle. One of them, wielding a handgun, broke the window and accessed the vehicle, taking the firearm.

The public is advised not to approach if they spot the suspects but to call 911 immediately. For tips, individuals can contact 215.686.TIPS (8477).
