Fatal Two-Car Collision Leaves Two Dead in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two men have died following a collision on Sunday afternoon in Northeast D.C.

The incident occurred near the intersection of 35th Street and Bladensburg Road, adjacent to the Popeyes and Exxon station, with DC Police responding shortly before 1:30 p.m.

The crash involved at least two vehicles, though detectives have not yet released details regarding the cause and the identities of the deceased.

Road closures were enforced in the aftermath, affecting the 3000 Block of Bladensburg Road in Northeast, D.C. and the 3100 Block of 35th Street, but have since been lifted. Police are actively investigating the circumstances of the incident.
