Dirt Bike and ATV Seizures Prompt Safety Warning in North Plainfield

by Leo Canega

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Local police have recently seized two dirt bikes being illegally operated on public roads, prompting a warning regarding the perils of such activities.

New legislation imposes enhanced penalties and fines for these violations.

A first offense will incur a minimum fine of $500 plus towing and storage fees.

Subsequent offenses can escalate to $750 and a 14-day impound period.

If fees remain unpaid or ownership cannot be proven, an auctioning could be issued.
