Police Seek Burglary Suspects in Wall

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Wall Township Police Department is actively seeking assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a home burglary on Tuesday evening in the West Belmar area.

At around 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Detectives and Patrol Officers were dispatched to a residence on Walling Avenue after receiving reports from neighbors about two individuals forcibly entering the home.

The suspects fled towards State Highway 71, northbound and southbound.

The first suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, between 6’1″ and 6’3″ tall, wearing a dark sweatshirt, dark jeans, Air Jordan sneakers, a black durag, and a black beard. The second suspect is described as a shorter black male in a dark hooded sweatshirt and mask.

A confrontation occurred when the homeowner arrived during the burglary, leading to a physical altercation with one of the suspects before they escaped. The Wall Township Police Department, with Patrolman Chris Gallagher and K-9 partner Eli, conducted a search with negative results.
