ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Dave & Buster’s, the popular restaurant and entertainment chain known for its family-friendly atmosphere, is slated to open its new location in Atlantic City in early December 2023. Company officials recently confirmed the opening, initially planned for fall 2023.

This new establishment will occupy the space of the former 40/40 Club, a nightclub previously owned by hip-hop mogul Jay-Z. The club closed in 2013 and was once a renowned celebrity hotspot. Similar clubs in Manhattan, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Brooklyn have also ceased operations.

Located at 2120 Atlantic Avenue within the Tanger Outlets shopping complex and just a block from Caesars Atlantic City, the new Dave & Buster’s venue spans approximately 21,000 square feet. The company, which is publicly traded, will transform the former nightclub space into its signature style, featuring a sports bar and grille, an array of arcade games, and numerous televisions broadcasting live sports.
