Columbus Police Arrest Suspect in Deadly Road Rage Shooting on I-670

COLUMBUS, OH – A 37-year-old man, Tony Brock, faces charges in a fatal road rage incident on Interstate 670. The Columbus Division of Police Homicide Unit apprehended Brock, who is now held at the Franklin County Jail.

The incident, which resulted in the death of 52-year-old Bret Bennett, occurred on November 10, 2023. Columbus Police responded to a shooting report on I-670, between N. 4th Street and Cleveland Avenue exits. Upon arrival, officers found Bennett with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
