Hanover Man Arrested in Child Abuse Case

HANOVER TWP., PA – The Hanover Township Police Department has apprehended Shaun Michael Loux in a child sexual abuse case.

Following an investigation, Loux faces charges including rape of a child, sexual assault, indecent assault, and child [censored]ography. The arrest occurred on Tuesday.

Magistrate Joseph Halesey conducted the arraignment, setting bail at $125,000. Loux is currently held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.

The charges against him encompass a range of felonies, including rape of an unconscious victim and aggravated indecent assault of a child.

The Luzerne County Central Court Building is set to hold a preliminary hearing on November 22, at 8:30 am. The Hanover Township Police Department continues its investigation into these allegations.
