Connecticut Man Sentenced for Sexual Conduct with a Child

WHITE PLAINS, NY – Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah announced the sentencing of Angel Castro Maldonado, 40, from Danbury, Connecticut, to seven years in state prison.

Convicted of engaging in sexual conduct with a minor, Maldonado’s actions spanned from 2018 to 2020 in Ossining Village.

The jury found Maldonado guilty of sexual conduct with the victim, starting when the child was 11 years old.

The Ossining Village Police Department arrested Maldonado in 2021, concluding an investigation in collaboration with the District Attorney’s Office.

Post-release, Maldonado will undergo 10 years of supervision and must register as a sex offender.
