OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ – A corrections recruit has been arrested after a privacy invasion incident at a Target store in Ocean Township.

Marc K. Pierre, 28, of Neptune City, was reported on June 18th, for attempting to take inappropriate photographs of women.

The victim’s husband confronted Pierre, who then fled the scene. The police were provided with a vehicle license plate leading to Pierre’s identification.

Detective Arthur Barnek led the investigation, confirming Pierre’s actions through surveillance footage and identifying him as a corrections recruit. Pierre was charged with Invasion of Privacy on June 26th, and subsequent searches of his vehicle and residence yielded significant evidence.

Pierre is currently held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, pending a court appearance. Detective Barnek believes there may be additional victims and asks anyone affected to contact him at 732-897-6239.
