Police Investigating Shooting in Passaic After Victim With Multiple Wounds Arrives at Hospital

PASSAIC, NJ – The Passaic Police Department is actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred near 3rd Street and Passaic Street in the early hours of the morning on Sunday.

Around 1:30 a.m., gunfire was reported in the area, prompting a response from local law enforcement officers.

Upon their arrival, police found several shell casings at the scene, confirming evidence of a shooting. However, no victim was found at the location.

Concurrently, an individual with gunshot wounds arrived at Hackensack University Medical Center, believed to be connected to the shooting incident.

Detectives are currently piecing together the events leading up to the shooting and are working to establish a motive.
