BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA – On Tuesday, Kevin Michael Baker Jr., a 21-year-old from Bensalem, was sentenced to state prison for his involvement in a fatal hit-and-run incident on Christmas Eve 2021 and for drug-related offenses.

Baker received a sentence for involuntary manslaughter in the death of 65-year-old John Dugan of Bristol Township, who was fatally struck by Baker’s vehicle on State Road while heading to a Christmas party.

The Bristol Township Police Department, aided by the Bucks County 20th Investigating Grand Jury, revealed that Dugan was hit by a red Chevy Silverado driven by Baker.

Baker later turned himself in on April 25, 2022. Additionally, he faced charges for operating a large-scale marijuana distribution from his Bensalem apartment, to which he pleaded guilty.

President Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. imposed a sentence of 2 ½ to 5 years for the manslaughter charge, and additional time for drug trafficking.
