Trenton Police Investigating Deadly Early Morning Shooting

TRENTON, NJ — A homicide investigation is underway following a fatal shooting in Trenton this morning. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force, in collaboration with the Trenton Police Department, is investigating the incident in the first block of Oliver Avenue.

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Friday, November 24, Trenton police responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting

. The investigation remains active, with authorities seeking information from the public.
