Keansburg Man Charged with Aggravated Assault of a Minor

FREEHOLD, NJ – Robert L. Wisiak, a 44-year-old former resident of Keansburg, now residing in South River, was arrested on October 20, by the Keansburg Police Department.

The arrest came on charges of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Minor and third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, as announced by Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago.

The investigation uncovered that Wisiak committed sexual assaults against a minor, under 13 years old at the time, during 1999-2001. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and Keansburg Police are actively seeking additional information regarding Wisiak’s activities.

Convictions for these charges could result in up to 20 years of imprisonment, Megan’s Law registration, and Parole Supervision for Life.
