Teen Arrested in Gaithersburg for Auto Theft and Firearm Possession

GAITHERSBURG, MD – A 16-year-old from Gaithersburg has been recently arrested for possessing a stolen vehicle and a loaded firearm.

The Montgomery County Department of Police- Auto Crime Enforcement Section (ACES) apprehended the teen on Darnestown Road.

The stolen vehicle, a 2023 Honda Accord, was linked to a November 8 theft from a Toyota Camry.

The teen faces multiple charges related to auto theft, firearms, and theft from auto.

He is awaiting extradition to Washington D.C., for robbery charges.
