OLD FORGE, PA – A homicide investigation is underway by the Pennsylvania State Police Troop R – Dunmore Station, following a fatal shooting at Club VIP Diamond.
The incident occurred early on Sunday, at 107 North Keyser Avenue in Old Forge Boro, Lackawanna County.
Responding to the scene at approximately 3:29 am, officers from the Old Forge Police Department found 34-year-old Khayree Abdurruzzaq of Hanover Township with a gunshot wound. Abdurruzzaq was rushed to CMC Hospital in Scranton, where he was later pronounced deceased at 4:39 am.
The Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation into this incident. The public is asked to provide any relevant information to PSP Dunmore at 570-963-3156 or anonymously via Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477) or their online platform.
