Catalytic Converter Thefts in Wall Township Prompt Police Investigation

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Wall Township Police Department is investigating a series of catalytic converter thefts that occurred in the early hours of December 6. The thefts were reported in several areas, including Allaire Crossing, Spring Lake Garden Apartments, Arthur Street, and Colfax Plaza.

At around 5:00 a.m., Officer Roeck spotted a suspect vehicle on Monmouth Boulevard. Upon attempting to stop the dark-colored sedan, the vehicle fled at a high speed. Following New Jersey Attorney General guidelines, the pursuit was subsequently terminated.

The police are seeking assistance from the public. Anyone who has seen or heard anything suspicious during the early morning hours, or who may have relevant video footage from home security systems, is encouraged to contact the Wall Township Police Department’s detective bureau at 732-449-4500, ext. 1800.
