43-Year-Old Woman Raped After Being Shoved Into Alley

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a suspect involved in a sexual abuse incident.

The event occurred on Sunday, at approximately 5:15 a.m. near 160-30 Northern Boulevard. A 43-year-old woman reported being forcibly taken into an alleyway by an unknown male, who then sexually abused her.

The suspect, described as having a light complexion and slim build, was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light-colored pants, and black sneakers.

He fled westbound on Northern Boulevard following the incident. The victim, who sustained non-life threatening injuries, was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens for treatment.

The NYPD has released media obtained near the incident location in hopes of identifying the suspect. They ask anyone with information to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
