CUMBERLAND, MD – Timothy Bobby Miller Jr, 35, was arrested on multiple drug charges in Cumberland, Maryland, on December 12, following a traffic stop for a violation.
Cumberland City Police officers, while on patrol on Grand Ave, noticed a traffic violation involving a white passenger vehicle. A stop was initiated, and Miller, the vehicle’s lone occupant, was contacted. A police K9 unit conducted a free-air sniff around the vehicle, indicating controlled dangerous substances (CDS) inside.
A search of the vehicle and Miller revealed suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl, suboxone, and marijuana. Officers also seized a large amount of U.S. currency. Miller was arrested and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing.
Following his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner, Miller was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently held without bond.
