Ocean County Woman Arrested for Stabbing Teen Multiple Times

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ – A confrontation in the Ocean Acres section of Manahawkin on Thursday, December 14, at approximately 3:54 PM, led to a juvenile sustaining stab wounds, prompting a response from the Stafford Township Police Department.

The incident, initially reported via a 911 call, involved a fight between three male juveniles on Mermaid Drive. During the altercation, the mother of one of the juveniles intervened, resulting in a 17-year-old male receiving non-life-threatening stab wounds to his back. The injured juvenile was treated at Southern Ocean Medical Center.

The Stafford Township Detective Bureau conducted an investigation, leading to the arrest of Jennifer Adams, 41, of Manahawkin. Adams faces charges of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Child Endangerment, and Tampering with Evidence. She has been transported to Ocean County Jail to await a future court appearance.
