Assault and Stabbing in Front of Bronx Restaurant

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — An assault and stabbing incident in front of a Stratford Avenue restaurant has prompted an investigation by the New York City Police Department.

The event took place on Sunday, December 10, around 11:43 pm.

A 26-year-old male victim was attacked while ordering food by an unidentified male. The assailant punched and then stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing on foot.

The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.

The NYPD has released a description of the suspect and is asking for public assistance in identifying the individual. Information can be provided through the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline or via their online platforms.
