FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP, PA – The Fairview Township Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that took place on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the 200 block of Shauffnertown Road, near the Meadowbrook Court mobile home park. At approximately 7:57 pm, police were dispatched following reports of an individual being shot.
Upon arrival, the victim, who sustained a non-life threatening injury to the head/face, was transported to the hospital for medical attention. The police have assured that there is no ongoing threat to the public related to this incident.
As the investigation continues, the Fairview Township Police Department has not released further details. They are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
