NY Lottery Confirms Sale of Three $100K Powerplay Tickets in Manhattan, Newburgh, Yonkers

NEW YORK – The New York Lottery has revealed that three third-prize Powerplay tickets, each worth $100,000, were sold in the December 25 Powerball drawing. The lucky tickets emerged from diverse locations across the state:

  • 145 Food Plaza, situated at 701 Lenox Avenue in Manhattan, sold one of the winning tickets.
  • Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh, also sold a ticket securing the prize.
  • Le Mac Pharmacy, at 623 McLean Avenue in Yonkers, completed the trio with its sale of the third winning ticket.

Powerball numbers are selected from a pool ranging from one to 69, with the Power Ball drawn from a set of one to 26. The Power Play feature offers players the opportunity to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to ten times. Drawings for the Powerball are broadcast live every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
