Fog and Crash Snarl Traffic on Interstate 81

SHIPPENSBURG, PA – A crash on Interstate 81 caused additional delays in already fog-affected traffic on the morning of Dec. 28, as reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The incident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-81, approximately 0.8 miles from Exit 29 (PA 174 – King Street), near Shippensburg. The crash was first reported at 10:00 a.m.

As of 11 a.m., the crash, which is blocking the left shoulder near the exit, has led to lane restrictions on the interstate. Drivers are advised to exercise caution in the area and expect delays.
