Parsippany Welcomes Six New Police Officer Candidates

PARSIPPANY, NJ – In a notable ceremony on Wednesday, December 27th, Mayor Barberio presided over the swearing-in of six new candidates for the Parsippany Police Department. The candidates, Thomas Lally, Shalin Patel, Ryan McConnell, Robert Hockey, Jr., Richard Nicoletti, and Nicholas Santangelo, took the Oath of Allegiance, a pivotal step in their journey to becoming police officers.

During the ceremony, each candidate was presented with their badge by the Mayor, symbolizing their official induction into the force. Mayor Barberio expressed pride and optimism about the new recruits, noting their potential and the community’s expectations for their success at the Police Training Academy.
