Pedestrian Struck by Motorcycle in Teaneck, Injuries Non-Life-Threatening

TEANECK, NJ – A serious motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian and a motorcycle occurred on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, around 5:00 PM on Cedar Lane. The Teaneck Police Department responded to the scene at 599 Cedar Lane following a report of the accident.

Upon arrival, officers found a 48-year-old female resident of Teaneck lying unconscious in the middle of the road. She was promptly transported by the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Hackensack University Medical Center. The victim’s injuries, while serious, are reported as non-life-threatening.

The motorcycle operator, a 32-year-old male from North Bergen, stayed at the scene. He sustained minor injuries and was also taken by the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Holy Name Medical Center for treatment.
