Subway Robbery in Manhattan Leaves Woman Injured

NEW YORK, NY – A robbery occurred on a southbound E train at the West 4 Street Station on Saturday, December 23, at around 2:30 PM, leaving a 20-year-old woman with minor injuries. The suspect, an unidentified male, forcibly took the woman’s backpack and fled the scene.

The incident unfolded as the victim was traveling on the E train. The assailant approached her, seized her backpack by force, and then exited the station. He was last seen heading south on Avenue of the Americas. The victim, while injured, declined medical treatment.

Authorities describe the suspect as a 30-year-old male with a dark complexion. His last known attire included blue jeans and a green jacket. The investigation is ongoing, and police are requesting anyone with information to come forward.
