Off-Duty NYC Cop Arrested on Multiple Charges

BRONX, NY – On Tuesday, January 2, at 11:04 AM, an off-duty New York City police officer was arrested within the 52 Precinct. Andy Urrutia, a 24-year-old male and NYPD officer, faces several charges.

Urrutia has been charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, official misconduct, identity theft, and unlawful possession of personal identification.

The circumstances leading to the arrest and the allegations’ specifics are under investigation.
