Juvenile Arrested for Firearm Possession at Boston School

BOSTON, MA – A 15-year-old male student was arrested by the Boston Police Department’s District D-4 officers on Wednesday, for illegal firearm possession.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:40 AM near 150 Newbury Street.

School staff initially received a tip about a student carrying a firearm. Upon searching the student’s backpack, staff discovered a Taurus firearm loaded with ten rounds.

Detectives at the scene secured the weapon. The juvenile is facing multiple charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition, a large capacity feeding device, and possessing a firearm on school grounds.

He is slated for arraignment in Boston Juvenile Court.
