Woman Robbed of Cellphone and Credit Card on Subway Train Near Rockaway Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A grand larceny incident took place on Tuesday, at around 4:15 am on a northbound “4” train approaching the Rockaway Avenue subway station.

A 44-year-old female victim was targeted by an unknown individual who snatched her cellphone and case containing credit cards before fleeing.

There were no injuries reported in connection with this incident.

The NYPD is seeking assistance in identifying the suspect and asks anyone with information to come forward.
